Jewish Drivers Ed is a great opportunity to gain the confidence to navigate through life while learning the rules of safety on and off the road. The program will begin Sept. 10th and continue through Dec. 3rd.
Parent and student orientation: Sept. 10, 2017 at 10 am.
The classes will take place on the following Sunday's:
Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 19 and Dec. 3rd.
Final drives for DMV test will be held after.
The class will meet on from 12:15 pm – 4:00 pm at the NCSY Office (6688
SW Capitol Hwy). We begin each class with a 45 minute discussion about different topics that are relevant to navigating through life off the road. Some examples are “Smoking, Drugs and Drinking”, “Tattoos and Piercings”, “Suicide”, “Cremation” and more! The class continues with the ODOT driver education course in the classroom until 4:00 pm.
Please note: Students will be divided into groups of 2-3 for the "behind the wheel" drive lessons and set a time during the week to get them done each week. The "behind the wheel" lessons take about 1 - 1.5 hours for each lesson.
Tuition: $200 before Aug. 18th, $250 after
